As part of the Water Centred Design for Life, the initiative ensures water availability for
drinking, sanitation, agriculture, and livestock. As the water scenario improves in the region,
the scope and the need for other development activities emerge.
This project proposes training 800 candidates in the basics of solar photovoltaic system design, installation and maintenance. These are both online and class room trainings for participants from economically weaker sections studying in vocational training institutes.
A job oriented skill upgradation programme on solar electrical vocation for 500 students from all sections of society including women and candidates from backward areas.
Advit Foundation and LeasePlan India Pvt. Ltd. have been undertaking tree plantation initiatives and green space development programs in underprivileged schools as part of their CSR. In 2016-17, an initiative was undertaken to reach out to young students with the solar energy technology covering the basics of solar photovoltaic system design, installation and maintenance. As a first step towards building a sustainable society, the participants were encouraged to plant trees in their institutions.
The project addresses educational, environmental, cultural and personal needs of children from economically weaker background to encourage them to attend school.
