Vidya Vatika – School for the Underprivileged
Vidya Vatika is an informal school, initiated by Advit with support from Monsoon Trust,for children from low income families –children of domestic servants, drivers, tea stall owners, gardeners and others involved in the upkeep of the neighbourhood, homes and offices. Locatedin Ghata village (near Sector 55, Gurgaon), the school catered to children whose parents could not afford tosend them to a regular school.

Prakriti Eco School
Prakriti Eco School is an environment education programme for schools, initiated by Advit with support from IKEA. This programme aims to enhance environmental awareness among children through participatory approaches and to conduct environment assessment and action in the neighbourhood. The Eco School is open to all children wanting to participate in the workshops. A minimum of 750 children from each school (total 3,000 children) would receive training and hands on experience.

Rainwater harvesting is a technology used to collect, convey and store rain from relatively clean surfaces such as a roof, land surface or rock catchment for later use.
